Its comprehensive performance is close to that of steel, which effectively improves the mechanical properties of cast iron, especially plasticity and toughness. In addition to iron, it usually contains 3.0-4.0% carbon, 1.8-3.2% silicon, and a total amount of manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur not exceeding 3.0%, as well as appropriate amounts of rare earth, magnesium and other spheroidizing elements.
