Types of galvanized steel wire

Hot-dip galvanized wire
Hot-dip galvanized steel wire is made by hot-dip galvanizing process, that is, immersing the steel wire in hot zinc liquid so that the surface of the steel wire is completely covered with a layer of zinc coating. Hot-dip galvanized steel wire has excellent corrosion resistance, flexibility and softness.

Production process: Steel bar coil - pretreatment - wire drawing - rust removal - pickling - hot-dip galvanizing - annealing - (redrawing) - winding - quality control - packaging.

Electrogalvanized wire
The difference between hot-dip galvanized wire and electrogalvanized wire lies in the galvanizing process. The latter uses the principle of electrolysis to coat a thin layer of zinc on the surface of the steel wire, making the surface of the steel wire uniform and shiny.

Can galvanized wire be used outdoors?
